Nov 8, 2019 · Hi. I have a Citroen C4 Picasso 1.6vti. I've got the same problem with the ESP/parking brake. It also has another problem. It's always blowing a 15 amp fuse in the engine bay fusebox. I've tested it with diagbox, and have the same u1208 fault code, but the engine has no fault codes.

To help others I had had the following faults. ABS Fault, Brake fault, EPS fault, Depollution fault, Handbrake fault, Gearbox fault, Power steering fault. EGS Gearbox would only change using paddles from 1st up to 3rd. To get further I had to accelerate and drop into Neutral and then back into Auto mode to get 5th or 6th. Gearbox changed down fine!

My 2016 GP has developed the following problem. Everything ok for first mile or so then manual gear selection with paddles will not work and cannot select manual with lever it stays in auto. After about another 10 miles display pops up "Gear Box Fault etc". Local dealer has diagnosed and says requires new " Actuator 9802017380" at £1000 plus !!!
